The Role
Our client, a leading main contractor who has an outstanding reputation for success who has worked on some of the most prestigious large scale projects and Gulf region is currently seeking a Deputy HSE Manager to join them in Kuwait.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Ensuring all the health and safety statutory and contractual requirements are identified;
Monitoring the contractor and all sub-contractor's for HSE compliance to all regulatory and project requirements on a day-to-day basis;
Reviewing and approving Contractor HSE plans (HSE Plan, Fire Safety Plans, Emergency Preparedness / Response Plans, etc);

Ensuring timely close out of various HSE notices;
Thorough investigation and follow up of all HSE incidents / accidents (including high potential near misses);
Adoption of best HSE standards, procedures and working practices;

Requirements
You will have:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Diploma - Mechanical, Chemical, Fire & Safety, Environment, Petroleum, Electrical, Civil Engineering from recognized and reputed University (4 years Course).

Key Responsibilities:

The Role
Purpose: Plans, develops, and implements brand strategies and marketing programs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

The Role
Purpose: Plans, develops, and implements brand strategies and marketing programs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Steward of the brand that supports our new brand promise, brand vision, brand position, brand architecture and achieves overall business goals for the brand.
- Engages, inspires and galvanizes the organization around the brand vision, position and strategies so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise.
- Identify, evaluate marketing strategy, and develop new channels of creating the brand based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
- Formulate, direct, promote and position brand activities by ensuring that brand guidelines are maintained in collaboration with the Sales Department. Develops annual and quarterly plans in line with the Company planning cycles.
- Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Develops pricing & pack strategies, improved margin mix, trade spending plans and distribution goals in order to develop actionable KPI’s.
- Conducts analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competitive, category, customer and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.
- Leads consumer and brand learning plan development and oversees execution and findings of research studies.
- Leads global brand planning process by developing and executing annual brand target setting & innovation review and brand strategy review. Also participates in and contributes to annual brand operating plan reviews.
- Producing annual and quarterly forecasts and strategic planning to achieve sales and target
- Analyzes consumer, category, competition, and channel/customer as part of a situation assessment.
- Reviews channel and customer-specific point-of-purchase trade plans and provides feedback on consistency with marketing plan.
- Analyzes current performance, trends, market conditions, and other contributing factors to help brand manager in recommending base and stretch revenue goals for upcoming year.
- Drives consumer understanding and insights that defines our prime prospects’ needs, attitudes and values in order for consumers to have stronger and more impactful brand experiences.
- Oversee the planning for purchases, stock monitoring and control, sales & inventory of brands and products on monthly, quarterly, & yearly basis.
- Direct communication with international principals regarding display materials, fixtures, and collateral
- Performs any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) At least 2 years’ experience as brand manager with 5 years marketing background experience.
- Experience in Fashion / Luxury / Gulf market.

The Role
Manager Strategic Partnership - Corporate Marketing - Kuwait

As Strategic Partnership Manager for Alshaya's Corporate Marketing division, you will be responsible for ensuring that Alshaya develops and optimises relationships with strategic partners. You will support the brand marketing teams in the delivery of effective, commercial corporate social responsibility partnership programs that drive incremental revenue.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Supplier Management / Quality Assurance
* Receiving and processing requests for corporate Gift Card sales
* Reviewing suppliers of partnership collateral against negotiated rates and SLAs and providing feedback to line manager and Production team
* Providing historic costs to support negotiations with partners
* Managing and communicating strategic partnerships to brand marketing teams
* Maintaining relationships with existing strategic partners to support individual brands and Alshaya corporate initiatives
* Assessing the effectiveness of all partnerships and cross-brand collaborations for corporate fit and against cost criteria, recommending parameters of deals to line manager plus any remedial action (where necessary)
* Building and managing professional relationships with external partners whilst also creating and maintaining excellent team and cross functional working relationships
* Forming appropriate cross-functional working teams to ensure implementation and activation of partnerships i.e. Finance, IT, Audit
* Working cross-functionally with other teams and functions to ensure the efficient implementation of marketing initiatives
* Providing partner guidelines to brand teams
* Adhering to all company policies, procedures and guidelines
* Sharing best practice within the brand, division and across Alshaya
* Ensuring all activity is delivered in line with Alshaya's Vision & Values.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing (preferably 3 years of managerial experience).
* A university Degree in a relevant subject
* Good communication, management and organisational skills
* Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools.
