The Role
Our client, one of the leaders in the excavation and production of building materials is seeking a general manager to lead their Gabbro Business.

The GM is responsible to manage, lead and direct the Gabbro mining company business units for Quarry/plant operations. He/she needs to ensure that business activities are carried effectively within set target and in accordance with local regulations and high quality standards whilst constantly having an overview of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate business planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop a business strategy that aligns with the Holding Company’s overall vision and the short-term and long-term business objectives of subsidiary.

Our Client, the University of Oman Project (UOP) is the project phase of the University of Oman which is expected to become operational by August 2018.

The University of Oman Project seek to employ the services of Capacity Building Programme Manager to join its project team.

The successful candidate is expected among other things to:
- Manage the University of Oman's capacity building project aiming at building Omani capacity to fill potential faculty and non-faculty roles at the University of Oman.
- Provide leadership on the development and implementation of this programme.
- Reporting and evaluation of the programme and collecting periodic reports.
- Set a selection criteria and process to select development and education partners.
- Work closely with HR Unit to ensure that the programme is strongly aligned with the workforce plans.
- Prepare required budgets and resources.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Education or a related field
- Track record and experience in managing similar programmes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in remote management is preferable
- Fluent in both Arabic and English Languages
- Proven project management skills including planning, monitoring, evaluation, budgeting, etc.
- Experience in providing coaching support
