Regional Business Development Manager - Egypt

An International engineering construction company in the Middle East are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their head office in Egypt.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for exploring, identifying or proposing potential business opportunities by contacting potential stakeholders / partners.

- You will need to have a strong gasp on the market, be able to analyze market potential, strategies, competitor moves, deal requirements, evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending entry strategies / options.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new opportunity / venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Enhancing Organization reputation & high level networking.

- Previous experience in GCC / Africa preferred.
- Degree educated in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience working with Local, International and Government companies,

You will handle assigned day-to-day or emergency maintenance requirements or general repairs and machine relocation for your assigned territory. This position involves close liaison with the sales and face-to-face customer liaison teams as well as suppliers.

Responsibilities include:
* Planning and carrying out preventative maintenance schedules to ensure routine maintenance on all coffee brewing equipment
* Maintaining water systems and drains
* Inspecting, cleaning, adjusting and repairing equipment when necessary
* Installing and repairing equipment
* Carrying out minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical work
* Coordinating outside vendor repairs, plumbing and electrical work.
Requirements
* A valid driver's licence for the location being applied to as well as a good working knowledge of roads and landmarks in the chosen market
* Experience handling customers and clients in a variety of situations (repair, call out, emergency planned preventative maintenance, etc)
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Electronic and electrical equipment knowledge and repair experience

Additionally, experience of dealing with internal departments and suppliers is an advantage.
