The Role

To lead operations within the Manufacturing area, from contribution to bidding process and planning through production to output encompassing all elements of operation; resources availability, utilization, and quality in order to deliver products in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

Basic requirements are as follows:
Mechanical Engineer with 15-25 years’ experience in Manufacturing of Equipment such as Heat Exchanges, Pressure Vessels, Boilers, Columns, Storage Tanks etc.
• Experienced in Storage Tanks related Projects.
• Strong Project Management, Leadership and People Management Skills.

The Role

Our Construction business continues to grow in Saudi Arabia and we are looking to add senior level construction professionals to the team. We can offer a long term career working on large scale and complex projects. Candidates should have prior experience working on projects in the Middle East.

Main Purpose of the Job
To ensure that the Company procurement duties are carried out to the highest standards, on time and with the highest financial gain to the Company.

Responsibilities
• Commit orders on a timely basis
• Ensure that all documentation is approved during the purchasing process
• Being aware of project approved budgets for items being purchased
• Assist in expediting materials to site if required
• Ensure that all major orders for Projects are based on projet approved payment terms
• Negotiate Terms and Conditions of purchase
• Assist in the preparation of the projet procurement plan or prepare a draft plan for review by the Project Procurement Manager
• Ensure full commitment to the implementation of the IMS Procedures
• Prepare, issue and expedite inquiry packages
• Review vendor bids and prepare commercial bid tabulations
• Assist in the disposal of excess materials from the project
• Liaise with vendors in resolving disputed deliveries
• Negotiate subcontract prices where applicable
• Give guidance and on the job training to junior purchasers

Requirements

Education and Skills
•Technical Knowledge of site requirements - consumable equipment
•Must be computer literate
•Must be numerically proficient
•12 years experience minimum
•Good negotiating skills
•Past experience managing teams
