The Role
Purpose:
Oversee the supervision of the Architecture/Interior Design/Finishing
works by the supervision consultant in assigned area and discipline to review
and monitor project progress and completion in accordance with overall project
plan. Coordinate with consultants and contractors in the assigned area to
ensure compliance with Budget, Quality, Schedule and HSE requirements.
Responsibilities and Major Activities
* Review the contractors schedule to perform the Architecture/Interior Design/Finishing engineering activities in logical steps and budget time and resources required to meet deadlines.
* Study contractors Architecture/Interior Design/ Finishing engineering specifications to determine appropriate construction methods, alternative analysis and implementation plans.
* Review Architecture/Interior Design/Finishing engineering work to monitor compliance with building specifications, safety codes and other regulations.
* Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site which include overall risk management actions.
* Confer with contractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
* Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
* Ensure appropriate usage and application of the Project Management System (PMS) with respect to entry and analysis of work related data for day to day functioning to facilitate seamless communication of all relevant (technical/non-technical) information across the organization on a real time basis for maximum effectiveness.
* Communicates with Technical departments and Consultant staff to determine problems and recommend solutions. Ensure timely preparation of various progress and cost tracking reports.
* Present reports to management and client as required.
* Monitor and analyze reports on scope, quality, cost, and time to determine if the project is on track.
* Follow up with relevant parties for corrective, preventive and defect repair actions.
* Gather and store documentation for claims management.
* Coordinate with design, QA/QC, HSE and procurement teams on construction and progress aspects for assigned area.
* Liaise with project parties and client for critical decisions as required.
* Provide appropriate inputs to all contractors in related to Civil/Structure/Finishing construction and engineering at assigned project site.

* Minimum 15 years relevant post qualification experience
* Member of a recognized institution or organization ( CIBSE, ASHRAE, CIOB)
* Minimum 3 years in similar role.
* With Hotel Works experience in renovation and upgrading. In addition of Technical Office Works for reviewing shop drawings and material submission.
Functional:
