Requirements
- Based /
experience in the GCC or at least have strong awareness of the Middle East and
/ or African markets. We are open to consider individuals without regional
experience and willing to relocate from developed markets
- You will be an experienced 360 end-to-end recruiter, with a strong research skills alongside business development
- Tactfully, you can develop business opportunities, with a hunger to succeed and be credible enough for clients and candidates to consider you as a ‘go to person’

Mechanical Manager - Facilities Management

The Role
Adecco
Middle East is working in partnership with a leading Facilities Management
client who require an experienced Mechanical Manager for a prestigious project
in Dubai. The preferred candidate will have technical knowledge in water
distribution networks, mechanical regulations and controls. Energy management
exposure is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
To manage the day to day operation of the area, ensuring that all maintenance employees are deployed effectively. Manage the logistics within the area ensuring the maintenance is carried out to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Establish an effective organization through the designing and implementing of a fit for purpose structure, adequate manpower, develop and implement systems to motivate manpower through training programs, incentives and recognition schemes for outstanding performance.
Develop, guide, direct, motivate and manage the performance of all direct reports in line with the Performance Management System to assist in the realization of their potential and to enhance their knowledge-based skills.
Assist the Account Director in managing the project in a professional manner in order to achieve a sustained positive image.
Provide a hands on leadership style, responsible for creating a customer focused culture that is based on delivering results, transparency and trust, whilst building organizational capability and empowerment.
Analyze the training requirements of employees within the area managed, and arrange for relevant training to take place.
Develop, implement and communicate improved processes, policies and procedures on a continuous basis, always seeking greater efficiencies and higher customer satisfaction.
Maximize communication and synergy between the Group Leaders.
Organize and attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the development of consistent standards in quality working and behavior.
Give assistance to MGMT for extra works BOQ and works follow up
Responsibilities:

Requirements
Engineering
Degree – MECHANICAL ENGINEERING is essential.
5 – 8 years experience in a facilities management company
Exposure to a multicultural environment
Proven leadership
Operations management
Vast technical knowledge in water distribution networks
Vast technical knowledge in MECH regulation and controls
Experience with pumps, piping, plumbing, water tanks, softeners, Water Filters, Water Heaters, water distribution networks
Good experience with starter panels for MECH systems (star/delta, Soft starter, DOL, VFD)
Experience with BMS Systems
Experience in plumbing works (domestic and industrial)
Vast experience in fire fighting systems (sprinklers, pre action, FM 200, FE, hose reels, hydrants, Faom, fire pumps)
Good knowledge of pool operations and water treatment
Good knowledge of all kind of valves, sensors and programming
Practical hands on experience in these systems is an absolute must
Strong management skills
Problem solving and good trouble shooting capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential
High level of customer orientation / understanding
Experience in using and following up operations with CAFM system
Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel is required for reporting
Knowledge of the local supplier market
