They have worked extensively on Large Rail, Metro, Tunnel, Airport and
Expressway programmes and they are currently working on a package of the Doha
Metro in Qatar.
My Client are looking for a Senior Planner to join their team in Qatar and assist them on the Doha Metro project.
The Main responsibilities for this position include:
• Update progress of 2 design programmes
• Reporting
• Progress measurement system update
• Change management
• Time impact assessment of changes
The salary for this position will have a package of be between 25,000 - 35,000 QAR/month.

The Role
We are
currently recruiting for an Assistant Construction Manager - MEP/Scada/Telecom
to perform advanced, complex construction management assignments using
convention or innovative management techniques and tools. At this level, the Engineer
is fully proficient in the utilization and maintenance of the project’s
referenced local and international standards and specifications, and relevant
authority standard applications and practices.
Responsible to implement the project quality plan and quality procedures and productivity related to all transmission substations’ SCADA & Telecommunication System’s works: technical review, approvals, procurement, delivery, inspection, installation, setting and configuration, testing and commissioning of different SCADA & Telecommunication equipment such as, but not limited to: SDH, PDH, FO cables and associated distribution and termination panels such as OTP, OTB, & FOPP. Also PAX, PLC, RTU, SCS equipment & Telecommunication Panels, Tele protection signaling Devices, works and equipment for the integration with KM centers: ENCC, NCC, & DCC. Also, the Auxiliary power supply devices for the Telecommunication & SCADA equipment: UPS, 48V DC supply, and the Substation’s Telephone System and different SCADA & Telecommunication systems and schemes installations and interconnections, in accordance with program of work on construction site.
Assists in defining the process for execution of management activities related to all aforementioned types of electrical systems; and to identify the need for specialty assistance.
Performs complex management tasks and particularly important management work efficiently and accurately. Oversees the adherence to contract drawings, specifications, and other materials in procurement and construction activities.
Regularly interfaces with other management disciplines as well as other departments. Endorses SCADA & Telecommunication and other electrical systems’ reviews of shop drawings and material submittals and other procurement materials that have been prepared by the contractor/subcontractors, according to the contract drawings, specifications, and reviewed by the CS engineers, and provides comments on the results of the reviews.
Endorses supplier SCADA & Telecommunication drawing submittals, and other electrical systems’ reviews and reviewed by the CS engineers, and provides comments on the results of the reviews. Prepares and issues technical reports, progress reports, and other SCADA & Telecommunication, and other electrical systems’ construction reporting documents.
Provides technical guidance to site engineers, CAD drafters, and other engineers working on the same project. Leads, manages and coordinates the activities of the electrical management staff in relation to SCADA & Telecommunication and other electrical systems’ works; and coordinates with the Construction Manager and the CS team.
Serves as primary interface with the LREDC/PMC, KM and construction contractor in performing SCADA & Telecommunication and other electrical systems’ technical reviews/inspections or addressing construction-related issues related to the SCADA & Telecommunication systems and other electrical systems.
Understands all related codes and their application to the project; and overseas/manages the interface with local agencies to maintain contract SCADA & Telecommunication design and contract SCADA & Telecommunication standards usage and monthly SCADA & Telecommunication approvals’ process. Act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on SCADA & Telecommunication and other electrical systems’ works’ management related matters.
Maintains awareness of the project SCADA & Telecommunication specifications, drawings and SCADA & Telecommunication design criteria.
