Location: Qatar
Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor
The qualified professional must:
- Have at least 10 years overall experience
- Have at least 5 years of similar experience
- Have Metro experience
- Be a B.Sc, B.E , BA or Equivalent holder
- Comprehensive knowledge of Quantity Surveying Standards.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will:
- Perform the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for all QS and contractual matters related to the execution of the contract including but not limited to payment certificates, claims, variation orders, etc.
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. May interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and give statistical reports.
- Have to understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.
- Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
- May supervise one or more lower-level QS and/or support personnel.
