•We are recruiting for FRESH GRADUATES to join us under our "Graduate Management Talent Program" (GMT) - our response to accommodate our young achievers, both Kuwaiti nationals and expatriates. The goal of this program is to provide you with first-hand training and to mold you as a high-value individual in our business environment.
•The 6-Month "Management Talent" Program, will have you work on a number of different projects within our selected departments - from our various Sales and Operations Units, to, Finance, ICT, Human Resources & Admin. and Marketing & PR. Each Management Trainee will receive coaching and supervision along the program course, so that, you get to know not only AAW and our core businesses and people, but also, yourself.
•Upon program completion, you will begin your first position with increasing responsibility. A management position is achievable depending on the qualities you show - it's all in your hands and the possibilities are limitless.
•Minimum Qualifications:
◦University Degree Holder and/or with 0-2 years work experience
◦Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
◦Ability to speak, write, read and understand both Arabic and English languages
◦Ability to multi-task with regular supervision
◦Can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and with a "can-do" attitude

Qualification / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in Information Technology as a Software Development Engineer on a Web platform.
Expertise in web UI development technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JSON, ReST.
Working knowledge of Client-side unit testing using Jasmine, QUnit or other JavaScript testing frameworks.
Experience as development team lead/tech lead for large, high-impact production systems.
Expertise in MVC/MVVM-based Single Page Application (SPA) paradigm using at least one of the following: Angular, Ember, Bootstrap, Knockout, Backbone.
Experience with JavaScript Package managers such as NPM, Bower, Grunt or others.
Experience with TDD/BDD, writing Automated Functional tests and Browser compatibility tests.
Experience with one or more of the following: C#, ASP.Net MVC, SOA, MSMQ, Threading, Session Management, MS Enterprise Library, and Encryption
Intense intellectual curiosity and an ability to view old problems with a fresh perspective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing our web/mobile UI, services-based solutions and internal applications to ensure consistency, quality, architectural integrity, scalability, and availability
Responsible for building Web Applications using Single Page Application (SPA) paradigm.
Participate in the full SDLC with Requirements, Solution Design, Development, QA Implementation, and product support using Scrum and other agile methodologies.
Support QA by participating in test plan reviews, triage meetings and bug fixes
Hands-on engineer in designing and development of software solutions and software requirements related core components, foundational frameworks, UI and SOA based services.
Develop software solutions using industry best practices and in the area of security and performance in an web and SOA architecture environment
Collaborates with team and business owners in the design and development of the reporting module
Maintain source-code repository, and participate in deployment of code into production.
Implements Web UI design and assists in the testing and user acceptance of Web pages and applications
Identifies new technologies that will benefit short and long term department goals. Provides thought leadership in the areas of strategy and technology.
Produces and implements visual enhancements to existing designs as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
